June 2, 2025 Aurora Continued

The geomagnetic storm from yesterday’s CME arrival continued into today. I woke up after the moonset and looked at the space weather data and Goes magnetometer. The Bz index had been slowly dropping, and finally it was starting to release. I set up a timelapse and caught the display. The burst lasted just a few minutes and was visible as a faint glow to the north in the saddle of the mountains. It seemed to flare up again as twilight was hitting.
